In todays fast changing world , we have seen DDR RAM getting faster, processors are also getting faster but what we havent seen too much is universally faster HDD. Still many of the notebooks comes with 5400RPM HDD and that has not changed for many years. But now ultimately we have some improvement in the speed and Samsung has come up with faster 7200 RPM hard disk drive. Difference between 5400 and 7200 RPM is that faster rotation speed, faster data retrive and faster application load.
Samsung’s this new HDD is called Spinpoint MP2 which has other features like silentseek and noiseguard and comes with different sizes. We do not have any information regarding its pricing yet but we will be able to see this HDD in market.
