Finally the end is over and mozilla has finished testing their latest third generation web browser and have launched their first release candidate of Firefox 3. The journey to Firefox 3 has been now 3 years and in these three years mozilla team have worked very hard to give more than 15,000 improvmore than 15,000 improvements over the previous release, ements over the previous release, design improvement and better control on the web.
Release Candidate means there will be some more testing on it and will have some bugs but not major ones which will be solved soon. But this is first public release and is definitely worth giving a try.
Please read my other posts on extenson compatibility with Firefox 3- here and here.
