M trying to use this speedplus software. But its not working and continuosly trying to connect to the speedplus server but without success. What might be wrong? Can anbody help?

well speed plus software is of no use and it is all crap that it can increase the speed. well then also if you really want to install it…you need to uninstall the whole drivers and software for tata indicom then remove the usb…restart the computer and then install the software with the help of cd without pluging in the usb and after installation agian press install and wait for some time it will complete the installation then again restart the compupter and then plug in the usb and connect and then try to connect through speed plus….
but as i said it is a crap it wont do anything….

its just an illusion that u r system will work like the speed of 230kbps to 340kbps its just a buisness tactics to sell a device thats all.
tataindicom plug2surf divice is a hopeless internet divice provides only 156kbps of speed more over when u try to increse the speed by using speed+ dialer will damage the laptop’s sound system … fuck all

Tata Indicom is not a good service provider. Their salesmen are cheating the customers. My connection drops to 1.5 kpbs almost everytime when i start to download. The maximum speed i got is 15kpbs. Really cheating.
i must agree with eveyone ,speed plus is just a webbrowser compressin tool it works with your web browsers to give you compression pictures to make the speed of the transaction faster.” I DOES NOT INCREASE SPEED THE LIERS”. It won’t increase baby …actual speed is always is 15 to 25 % of mentioned speed.Go for any e.g if you have 1 MBPS connection ur download speed will be something between 150 KBPS to 250 KBPS or even lesser.what u get is what u pay. Others are charging for extra 2 Rs/MB if more than 10 GB .And this is unlimited ..
hey this company is really very bad as its sales man sells the usb device to customer by telling lie that it will give 256 kbps where as company provides only 153 kbps.

It’s true, TATA INDICOMM Data CARD IS REALLY WORSE. I woule recommend everybody not to buy this as you may not be able to open even a single site with the speed it provides.
really this tata indicom sucks… these guys were cheating us by telling it provides high speed.. but the speed it provide is too low.. some time even the downloading speed goes to ‘0′

use internet explorer at the time of saving file dont click on the save file option bczz the speed of ur modem is increased to a extent of 1.2 mbps nd the file is downloaded side by side by tht speed so the time taken by tht is half as of the actual icn also wrk in mozilla but foe wireless

Tata P2S is the best internet service provider i ever seen. i got 160 kbps download rate. i am belonging to village. this speed is so batter in village. but if you are in city so don’t by this. BSNL EVDO broadband service is batter in city. The only problem with P2S is tariff is so costly.
try GIGAGET OR DAP accelerator to increase download speed, PROPEL for browsing speed, and SPEEDBIT for accelerating video on youtube and other sites. remember THE SPEED YOU EXPERIENCE after installing these softwares IS THE MAXIMUM YOU TATA INDICOM PLUG-2-SURF CUSTOMERS CAN EVER GET. BEST OF LUCK

YES. SPEED+ IS NOT GOING TO WORK. FURTHER IT SHOWS POTENTIAL INTEREFERENCE WITH OTHER DIAL UP ACCELERATORS WHILE INSTALLING/WORKING(EVEN BLUE SCREEN ERRORS MAY APPEAR.
Tata Indicom is a good service provider for telecom but shameful is the case of broadband plug to surf. Any person can easily compare it’s internet speed and the charges payable in compared to any other service provider.I myself is feeling cheated by TTSL due to both of these unsatisfactory fields.

You all are unnecessarily cursing Tata Indicom for fucked up speeds…..
Fools…its was clearly written that the speed would be about 230 kbps…
now…..kb is “Kilobits” and not “Kilo Bytes”….okay??
Now….8 bits will give you one byte….sope…230kbps(which is shown on your EpiValley dialer screen as 230400 bps) which will be about 26 Kbps(that is Kilo bytes per second)…
and as said above…you get only about 20% the mentioned speed….so if you get 15 Kbps speed then consider yourself lucky….
Annnd…….Speed Plus…is only a data compression tool…..it’ll will do nothing more that just compress you images in order to load pages faster…thus resulting in garbled images……
You get what you pay for….and…dial-ups are really not meant for downloading huge files…
but still what I do is….use hair clips to keep my eyes open and stay awake till 4 am….at 4 am the speed it gives is …like….22Kbps…

my tata connection is disconnect with in 10 mts. and my windows bar showing its connected if i wish to disconnect it its not possible for me.

I went ahead and got the Plug 2 Surf Whiz of Tata Indicom last month (Oct. 2009) and I am so glad that I took the right decision.
Previously, I had a landline based broadband connection of Airtel, and the connectivity was pathetic : I would get disconnected every 2 minutes, continiously inspite of their technicians having attempted to rectify the issue for more than 3 months !!!.
But, now with the Plug 2 Surf Whiz of Tata Indicom, connectivity is excellent 24/7.
And regarding the speed guys, bear in mind that that it is clearly mentioned upto 153.6 kbps. And, I regularly test the speed using http://www.testmyspeed.com and it gives my an average download speed of 112 kbps, which is quite sufficient for my internet needs.
And, what a relief it is, to be able to be connected to the internet without any connectivity interruptions.
Overall, I would rate the Plug 2 Surf Whiz as excellent, as it does deliver on it’s promises.
And, remember the Plug 2 Surf Whiz’s USB modem is a small and delicate device, which has to be handled with care, so that it functions well for a long time. Moreover, it comes with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. What else could I ask for ???
