One of the oldest game God of War have come up with their latest release named it Chains of Olympus. It is single player action only game which may be disturbing for many of PSP fans.  Sony describes this games as “T he ancient world speaks of a mortal that slayed a God. But long before his battle with Ares, Kratos sought absolution from his past sins by pledging himself as a champion to the Gods. These brutal crusades in the name of Olympus became legendary.” It was released on 8th march 2008 and has been getting wide popularity.

Fans of the God of War series and action titles alike will find a very satisfying experience in Chains of Olympus. Pulse-pounding action, mind-blowing visuals, and a well-told story more than makes up for a somewhat short game. My appetite for God of War was satiated and my anticipation for the planned God of War 3 has only grown after learning more about Kratos’ troubled past. If you have a PSP, you are simply missing out if you haven’t played this game.

God of War: Chains of Olympus is quite possibly the best game on PSP. Don’t let the complaints fool you: despite the length issues the multiple difficulties and how enjoyable the game is ensure that you’ll get a good amount of playtime out of it. CoO doesn’t equal the previous games in the series 100%, but being almost as good as the PS2 God of War games makes it a lot better than plenty of console games. This game should be on the buy list of every PSP owner, and is one of the better reasons to own the system.

God of War: Chains of Olympus PSP Game review by GameInTarget

The only way that Kratos lets down his true gods (meaning gamers) is that all of the intense gameplay and striking visuals don’t last long enough. Admittedly, it lasts longer than I did the first time I played its sex mini-game. I swear it was the first and only time, baby. But Chains of Olympus still clocks in at just eight hours. There are three difficulties initially and unlockables, but it’s a one-player affair and not too much more. For those eight hours, as long as you haven’t tired of playing as the Ghost of Sparta on your last-gen PS2, you’re going to entertained by this handheld epic and you’re going to really enjoy seeing what’s on the back cover of the game manual. Maybe the needed co-op mode will be in Kratos’ future after all on PSP.
