USB pen drive is i think the most commonly used gadget and if you consider the number you will find it that it will over number iPod, Notebooks and PCs by huge figure. Hack 5 have recently wrote an article to show how can you change the default look of USB drive when plugged in and can attract your colleagues. What you will be required is Your desired icon. You can search google and find one for you or create your own with .ico file format.
Once you have created the .ico file , rename it to autorun.ico. You need two files for this hack. One is Autorun.inf and second one is autorun.ico. To create Autorun.inf file simply open the notepad and write following
” [autorun]
icon=autorun.ico ”
And save the file as autorun.inf
Put both these files in root of your pendrive. Remove and reinsert the pendrive and you will see your favorite icon as removable drive thandefault icon.
