AT&T- one of the major mobile service provider has recently been noted to refuse giving plans for their iPhone users that can let them connect their iPhone as modem to their notebook and enjoy 3G speed with help of iPhone. AT&T already offers this service to major two handset- blackberry and Windows Mobile. The only thing you require is to pay few extra bucks to AT&T.
It seems unfortunate that AT&T will not have any plans that makes similar service activated with their iPhone handset. We do not have information regarding this from other service providers but looking at the nmber of iPhone users AT&T will have to change their strategy in near future.
