Spamming on the web and email has been the major security concern for whole of the world and for blogger like us. Till now my SpamKarma has removed nearly 40000 spam comments from my blog and most of them are either for selling some or other kind of drugs or related to financial matter. Spammers have utilized emails as a main source of getting into the people’s computer and than fix some trojan or virus and get some private information like passwords and credit card numbers. Also there is survey carried out which clearly suggeted that more than 50 % of email users do open spam message and click on the links provided in it.
And now is the rising use of smartphones and email on the move services provided by iPhone and Blackberry is under the eye of spammers and they are now finding ways to attack this services with spam. Data suggest that Smartphone market is growing nearly 30% each year and it is expected to increase more rapidly after the launch of iPhone which will have huge impact on smartphone market. It is also estimated that nearly 275 million smartphones will be sold next year.
