GPS functionality on sell phones are getting into the wild and have been seeing as very common feature that users saught for while purchasing the smartphone. And that is why we have so many news regarding the GPS on 3G iPhone, Nokia acquiring the european GPS giant NAVTEQ and blackberry trying to get GPS or say tomtom application for symbian. BUt not only the cell phone developers but also some of the giants in GPS manufacturing companies have started to gain advantage of this opportunity and have started developing smartphones that uses their own infrastructure for providing GPS functionality.
Here is one from MIO which has just announced a new smarphone which on first look is really impressive and also is bundeled with quite a few interesting features like Integrated GPS, 2.8 touchscreen display, 2.0 megapixel camera with LED flash and geotagging.
The only drawback of this device is that it does not have WiFi built in which can go against the device in long run.Other features includes Outlook Mobile, Office Mobile and Windows Live built into the device.
We do not have detailed specs and price tag yet but you can keep track here to get them as soon as they comes out of cloud.
