Quick Update: Sony PS3 Firmware 2.40 update withdrawn

After many of the SOny PS3 users reported a bug in the latest firmware update of Sony PlayStation 3 , SOny has officially withdrawn the 2.40 firmware from their server and have started investigating the matter. Sony have confirmed on wednesday that they are looking into the problem but by the mean time they have withdrawn the firmware. There is no information regarding the support to the customers who suffered this problem and according to the sony spoke person number of such customer is very small and will not have impact on a large scale to the popularity of most prefered gaming console.
