By the end of this year and probably around most famous festival of India- Diwali, sony is planning to launch its new Sony PlayStation 2 in India. Sony has as such chosen the right time to enter into the big market of India. According to sources, key feature of this new version will have features that will not be that much different that earlier version but only difference seems to be external AC adapter and its slimness. It is believed that Sony PS3 has not been too impressive in India where Sony PS2 was a great success and that is why they are trying to use the name of Sony PS2 to utilize popularity. About the pricing, according to sources there will not be any change in pricing. Along with this new version of PS2 they are also well set to launch their Playstation Network in India by the end of this year.
