Korea has been the hub for all tech companies specially in the field of cell phone manufacturing and computing area and why not when they have such a huge plans for their technology progress in the country. We have seen many handsets launched first in Korea and than moving to rest of world and here is a perfect setting that Korean government is trying to provide manufacturers. Yes as the title suggests Korea is planning to roll out 5G services across Korea by the end of 2012. Yes we are talking about 5G and not 3G. Now you will say that is there really any need of it?
Looking at the high end functionalities of handsets and the hunger of consumers, 5G will be indeed needed latter in second half. And the features you will get is internet speed that is better than today’s ADSL speed, HD Video streaming through cell phones and what not.
