Sony PSP users are the most amongst asking me this question. How to extend my battery life and is logical as the gaming is usually very addictive and we never realize how much we have spent and many a times ends up in low battery. We never had a perfect answer for that but now here is a very good solution for all those who want to save and extend their PSP battery life.
Hold+ has been just released and here is what it does:
Hold+ is very simple plugin for Sont PSP that features:
- Switches off the LCD backlight.
- Switches off the actual LCD screen.
- Underclocks the CPU to 61MHz
- The original screen brightness and clock speed are restored
So you just need to turn on the hold switch and you are done. And to keep doing some basic functions like volume and forward/rewind just use the ANALOG UP key.
UPDATE:
Torch has just released a new version 2.6.1 for Hold+
Grab it here(Hold+ V2.6.1)
You can download Hold+ V2.5 here.
Please follow all instruction for installing the application.
Thanks to Torch for releasing this nice plugin.
