Yes, this is true and as rumored earlier NetFlix- most popular online movie streaming service and Xbox is joining hands to proide you the same service using Xbox 360- one of the major gaming console in market. Key advatage will be that you will no longer rquired to have separate gadget for this service. Earlier you need to have either PC or Roku Netflix Player and you can get both gaming and netflix in one device only that is Xbox 360.
Apart from this there is no other advantage or superiority as the service is same and uses Netflix server only so picture clarity will remain same.
As such we do not have any launch date yet but those who are interested this is worth waiting a while before running to buy a Roku player.
UPDATE: Netflix on Xbox 360 Live streaming Video (22/07/08)
Xbox360 Fanboy has just posted a very good video showing what exactly it means to have this feature on your Xbox 360.
