Sony Playstation 3 has not attracted game fans this holiday season and research shows that sony has seen tremendous slowdown in its sales this christmas. At the same time its rival Microsoft and Wii has shown good percentage increase in their sales of Nintendo Wii and XBOX 360. Data also revealed that Sony Playstation Sales were down nearly 19% from previous year while XBOX sales increased almost 8% and Wii sales increased nearly 50%.
In this bad times of recession when Sony is already suffering with slowdown and layoffs, this is yet another hit to its marketing and development departments.
