Nokia’s very popular 5800 cell phone which is very popular in its music edition version and also for its navigation version, is now available in US. According to sources Nokia will be starting shipping this model to US in next wekk or so. Nokia 5800 comes with Nokia Ovi Maps and real-time turn-by-turn navigation for both cars and pedestrians. Also it supports speed limit warnings and speed camera alerts, and near real-time information on traffic congestion due to roadwork or accidents, ability to search addresses and calculate routes directly on the device.
Nokia 5800 will come bundeled with preloaded maps of USA and Canada. Also Like all Nokia devices with Ovi Maps, the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition can automatically synchronize with Ovi Maps on the web (http://maps.ovi.com) which allowsusers to Search for addresses and Points of Interest, Explore a location from the comfort of a large screen, Plan routes in advance for walking or driving and then save them, Save locations into Favorites and organize them into Collections, Places, collections and routes can then be synchronized over-the-air between Ovi Maps on the device and on the web.
