iRiver has created a lot of buzz since the announcement of its SPINN- a new and improved Portable multimedia player. As such iRiver was one of the most nearer competitor of iPod earlier with some nice models like iRier iHP series mp3s, but latter lost the momentum and kept way behind by Apple’s powerful marketing as well as innovations.

But now with the latest SPINN PMP, iRiver again is entering into the competition with Apple. Apart from the nice big screen and touch screen functions, it comes with options of 4 GB and 8GB memory space and bluetooth functionality for wireless streaming of songs and videos.

HP has just revealed an information regarding its upcoming notebook which they aims to target to group of professional who does not want to spend big amount and are happy with basic features for low price. According to the sources, HP is all set to unveil its new 15.4 inch notebook that has some nice features like Intel’s budget mobile processors may be celeron or low end core 2 duo, Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics, 4GB of memory.

The basic features you will get includes 1280×800 screen resolution, DVD burner, 802.11 WiFi, Ethernet LAN, a 56k modem. You will than have options to choose various addons like bluetooth, finger reader and also options for OS version.

We have information that it will be low budget, but unfortunately we still lack exact price tag which will be announced here soon.

We just had released agood news for all Nikon D3 and D300 DSLR camera owners and here is further clarification on the news from Nikon itself. Yes!! All Nikon D3 and D300 owners have been offered a Nikon NX2 upgrade by Nikon and its not just simple one but the discounted upgrade.

And here is the statement from Nikon

“Retail customers who purchase Capture NX Version 1 from a Nikon Inc. authorized reseller, (Nikon product number 25338) from May 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008 will be entitled to receive a FREE Capture NX 2 Upgrade directly from Nikon. Customers simply need to call Nikon at 800-Nikon-UX with their product key and provide a copy of their proof of purchase to receive a Capture NX 2 key code free of charge.

Ricoh has just announced a very quick second upgrade for its popular digital camera called Ricoh GR II Digital. Motorola Q9m we already mentioned earlier here is now known as Moto Q9c when it combines with Verizon and has few minor feature changes. One bad feature change is that it looses its Verizon music store while good one is that now it has GPS which works perfectly with VZ Navigator.

Other features remains more or less similar to earlier edition and here is the important specifications you need to know: CDMA, EVDO rev. 0, Windows Mobile 6, QWERTY keyboard, a MiniSD card slot, a 312MHz processor and a 1.3 megapixel camera.
